Welcome to the Supporting People service user involvement best practice guide.

Bolton and Torbay's Supporting People teams, both Regional Champions in service user involvement, have developed this site.

As part of last year's regional champions work a national service user involvement survey was conducted by Bolton Council to gather together some models of best practice from around the UK.

The How to get service users involved section highlights some of these methods and will hopefully help you to see why service user involvement is so important but, more importantly, how best to go about it.
