Some quick and easy ways to encourage feedback |

- YES and NO. Use one end of the room as yes, one end as no and get people to move to show their position. This is a brilliant way to quickly get answers from a roomful of people on a whole range of questions. You can then do a head count. You can choose to add 'maybe' and give people the option to sit out. Be mindful this isn't at all confidential and people may be swayed by peer pressure.
- Continuums - draw an invisible line down the room and agree a score along it from 1 - 10 (with 10 being strongly agree). Ask the group to position themselves along the line according to their view on statements you put to them, such as our opening hours are convenient, our marketing material is easy to read etc. Again, you can simply note the replies or ask individuals to elaborate.
- Use other art materials, possibly in conjunction with a visual artist. For example, use clay and ask people to build their ideal community (in miniature!). They can then explain what they have built and why.
