We know from experience that the people who use services are the true experts on how those services should be developed and delivered.
They are the ones that know exactly what they need, what works well, how things should be delivered and what improvements need to be made.
A key part of the Supporting People programme is making sure that people who are hard to reach become involved. There’s no doubt that this is a challenge, but hopefully this website will give you some ideas on how to achieve this.
Quite simply, by making sure that the voices of service users are heard, you will ensure that they are able to have a genuine influence on the support they receive, which leads to greater
effectiveness within the service itself.
This means your service can then be regarded as fully inclusive and needs led. |
